Jehl Law Group, PLLC, a Memphis-based personal injury firm specializing in nursing home abuse and neglect cases, today announced that attorney Carey Acerra was selected to the 2021 Mid-South Super Lawyers list.

“I am always proud of our team and the dedication we place on providing excellent service, while delivering the best results possible for our clients,” said Jehl Law Group founding attorney Cameron Jehl. “Honors such as these are designed to celebrate the top attorneys in their fields of practice. Carey is more than deserving of this recognition, and we look forward to her continued success and commitment to serving our clients.”

Each year, no more than 5% of lawyers in the Mid-South are selected to receive this designation. A Thomson Reuters business, Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazines and in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country.

Acerra has been an attorney at Jehl Law Group since its founding in 2013 and has been licensed to practice law since 2004. A passionate advocate for people in need, she has been selected as a Super Lawyer every year since 2016, with special recognition of her services to clients in personal injury cases. A graduate of the University of Memphis, Acerra is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, the American Association for Justice; and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA), where she chairs the Women’s Caucus and serves as Vice president of West Tennessee.  Acerra is slated to serve as President of TTLA, which works to guarantee legal rights for all residents and small businesses of the Volunteer State, in 2024.

“I am incredibly proud to be recognized by Super Lawyers alongside the region’s top legal professionals,” said Acerra. “Unwavering commitment and the highest standards are what everyone deserves when they engage an attorney. I am grateful to belong to this community. It is an honor to represent clients in need, in every case and circumstance they face.”
